Recent article re: Bariatric nutrition
Hey everyone,
A friend of mine on the AR board found this article published by a group of doctors and nutritionists (all of whom have many, many letters after their names) regarding bariatric nutrition. It is a PDF file and quite lengthy, but it could be something you might want to read.
Wendy has also done a "Reader"s Digest Condensed Version" in four separate posts on the AR board numbered Bariatric Nutrition 1-4 if you want to read those, they are broken down into normal person's language. She's done a great job taking some very technical material and turning it into something easily understood.
Here's the link to the published version:

I plan on taking a copy to my PCP the next time I see him.

Hi Connie,
The original post is on the AR board and is typed in a funny way that says "Everyone should read this". You can look for Wendy's posts....she has the big yellow rose for an avitar. That's where I got the link, maybe if you go to the original post you'll be able to open it. It is a PDF file. Does that help?
Take care
Susan
Thank you Susan, read it all and learned alot. I had begun a better vitamin regimen a month ago and already feel the difference. I can see how I was lacking in certain vitamins and minerals according to the article. Never too old to learn!
Thanks!!
